The coke oven is an important thermal equipment for coking, and its main function is to refine coal into coke. The coke oven is mainly built with refractory bricks. Its furnace structure mainly includes the furnace top, combustion chamber and carbonization chamber, ramp area, heat storage chamber and other parts, and is connected by flues and chimneys. According to the different structures and working environments of each part, the construction requirements of its refractory bricks are also different. The following are the construction requirements for refractory bricks in various parts of the coke oven:
01 Heat storage chamber
1. When laying the small flue wall on the sliding layer, the small flue wall should be prevented from displacement.
2. The arrangement order of the grate bricks should be determined according to the actual size of the grate holes.
3. When laying the base bricks of the grate bricks or lattice bricks, the top surface of the brick platform where the lattice bricks are placed should be kept flat. When the bottom of the lattice brick is a nozzle plate, the upper surface of the nozzle plate base brick should be flat and there should be no reverse misalignment.
4. The two layers of graphite plates at the bottom of the heat storage chamber should be laid with staggered seams.
5. The sliding layer between the semi-silica bricks and silica bricks in the heat storage chamber should be laid as the masonry is being laid. After the first layer of aluminum foil is laid, graphite should be brushed, and then the second layer of aluminum foil should be laid. The upper masonry should be carried out after the gas pipe hole is cut out.
6. When laying the masonry below the heat storage chamber wall and the heat storage chamber top cover, the standard difference of the adjacent walls should be checked regularly according to regulations.
7. When the coke oven wall of the sectional heat storage chamber is alternately laid with the checker bricks, a vacuum cleaner should be used to clean each layer, and measures should be taken to ensure that the masonry is clean and all channels are unobstructed.
8. The checker bricks in the heat storage chamber should be thoroughly cleaned inside the furnace body and the heat storage chamber top cover is grouted twice before laying. The checker bricks should be neatly stacked.
02 Inclined flue
1. When laying the inclined flue, the joints should be cleaned layer by layer and checked. The upper layer of bricks shall not be laid without the inspection of the lower layer of bricks. During the masonry process, the flatness of the upper surface of the masonry should be checked with a ruler at any time.
2. When laying the inclined flue, the horizontal dimensions of the inclined flue hole should be checked at any time. The inner surface of the inclined flue hole should be kept flat.
3. When laying the layers of inclined flue bricks below the heat storage chamber top cover, the masonry should be prevented from loosening. When laying the bricks of the compartmented heat storage chamber top cover, the protective facilities on the lattice bricks should be removed.
4. The top surface of the protective plate brick seat should be kept straight. The masonry of the carbonization chamber wall furnace head formed on the front of the inclined flue should meet the quality standards of the carbonization chamber wall.
5. Before laying the carbonization chamber wall, a horizontal mark plate should be installed on the inclined flue protective plate brick seat, and measures should be taken to control the elevation of the carbonization chamber wall.
03 Carbonization chamber, combustion chamber
1. The outlet of the coke oven gas duct should be sealed only after the carbonization chamber wall is built to the outlet height and the gas duct is cleaned and inspected.
2. The brick joints on the inside of the vertical fireway, horizontal flue, inclined flue mouth and fire viewing hole should be grouted as they are laid.
3. When building the carbonization chamber wall, the wall surface at the scaffolding board and the place where the combustion chamber partition bricks are changed should be kept flat.
4. When building the straight seam furnace head of the carbonization chamber wall, measures should be taken to prevent the furnace head masonry from tipping outward.
5. Before building the vertical fire channel gas duct outlet over-top bricks, the vertical fire channel should be cleaned and should be inspected and qualified.
04 Furnace top
1. Except for the end faces in the length direction, the other surfaces of the carbonization chamber cross-top bricks shall not be processed. There shall be no horizontal cracks on the working surface of the cross-top bricks.
2. Before the furnace is baked and the furnace top is cleaned, the sliding layer at the fire-watching hole should be pierced.
3. The width dimension of the furnace drying channel should not be built into a negative deviation, and its bottom surface should be flat.
4. Before building the top bricks of the fire-watching hole wall, the fire-watching hole iron parts should be inlaid first.
5. When building ordinary clay bricks and insulation bricks on the furnace top, grouting shall not be used.
6. After the furnace wall of the sectional heat storage chamber and the furnace roof built synchronously with checker bricks are completed, the protective facilities in the vertical fire channel should be removed, and the final vacuum cleaning should be carried out, and the fire hole cover should be closed after inspection.
