Special phosphate bricks and magnesium aluminum chrome bricks are both zinc volatilization kiln linings, and they are more suitable materials.
Because the zinc volatilization kiln is a dynamic kiln. The kiln is in a high temperature and constantly rolling operation state, the physical and chemical reactions in the lining are intense and complex, and the kiln lining is severely worn. The selection of lining refractory bricks should be very cautious.
The lining volume of the zinc volatilization kiln is large, which will cause the cylinder to deform; the brick type is reasonably designed and the refractory bricks of suitable materials are selected; the refractory bricks have many seams and are easily corroded by slag, so dry masonry construction is used as much as possible; in addition, the kiln lining will be affected by mechanical scouring and reducing atmosphere, and the lining refractory material will corrode very quickly. It is a prerequisite to select refractory bricks with corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant materials. Clay bricks corrode the fastest, while magnesium bricks, magnesium aluminum bricks, chrome slag bricks and magnesium chrome bricks corrode slowly.
In recent years, the special phosphate bricks developed by manufacturers of phosphate bricks, that is, phosphate bricks with a body density of more than 2.9, have also been used quite well, but the effect of using magnesia-aluminum-chrome bricks on volatilization kilns is also quite good. The difference between these two types of refractory bricks is that one is a chemically bonded brick and the other is a magnesia refractory brick. In addition, the price is that the price of special phosphate bricks is still nearly 2,000 yuan lower than that of magnesia-aluminum-chrome bricks. Because of its price, the use of special phosphate bricks has a relative advantage.
If you choose magnesia-aluminum-chrome bricks, it is completely possible. It has a long service life and low replacement frequency. If you look at the price, special phosphate bricks have low cost and are also a good choice for high-temperature belt linings. At present, there are many special phosphate bricks on the market.
As for the bricks in the preheating zone and cooling zone, high alumina bricks or ordinary phosphate bricks can be selected. In recent years, high alumina bricks and ordinary phosphate bricks have been used. In terms of the market usage ratio, ordinary phosphate bricks are more commonly used. If special phosphate bricks are used in the high-temperature zone, because their materials are consistent with those of high-temperature zone bricks, their kiln lining atmosphere is consistent, and phosphate bricks are more wear-resistant than high alumina bricks, and their service life is relatively long.
