In order to ensure the stable operation of the blast furnace tapping ditch, the blast furnace tapping ditch contractor will maintain the tapping ditch according to the use of the tapping ditch. The main maintenance scope is the main ditch, slag skimmer, iron ditch, and slag ditch to avoid major safety accidents such as iron leakage and slag leakage in these areas. There are also some precautions for the maintenance of the iron ditch, which affects the periodic use of the iron ditch.
After the iron ditch has been used for a period of time, it is necessary to remove the lining of the iron ditch and the residual iron and slag exposed inside. There must not be any residual slag and residual iron in the concrete body of the iron ditch. Try to avoid direct crushing of the residual lining during demolition. In addition to holes and hidden grooves, the focus of demolition is the slag iron attached to the residual lining. The slag iron at the bottom and both sides of the main ditch is cleaned by scraping and tapping with a hammer. When demolishing, the residual lining at the rear needs to be removed, and the residual steel and residue on the surface of the residual lining need to be cleaned. When demolishing, it is necessary to remove until the iron ditch material poured last time is exposed. After the old lining of the iron ditch is removed, the mold is installed and a certain thickness of iron ditch castable is poured. After pouring, it is put into use after baking.
There are also some precautions when using the iron ditch castable. First, the iron ditch material must be checked before entering the mixer. The castable that is damp, deteriorated and agglomerated must not be used; secondly, according to the specified water volume and mixing time, the mixing must be uniform, and the consistency and fluidity of the material must be controlled. The stirred castable is poured in along both sides of the iron ditch mold in turn, and then vibrated with a vibrating rod to ensure that the castable is dense. It must be vibrated vertically: the rod head is inserted quickly and pulled out slowly until the slurry is turned over, and it must be uniform to avoid causing segregation of the castable; at the beginning, it must be vibrated from both sides at the same time to avoid leakage vibration at the bottom of the ditch, and the vibration is stopped when the slurry is seen; the stirred castable should be used up within 30 minutes (depending on the change in the dehydration time of the material).
Any link in the repair of the blast furnace iron ditch requires attention. On-site personnel need to dismantle to the part that needs to be dismantled according to the construction requirements, and pouring also needs to be carried out according to the construction method to ensure that each iron ditch repair can achieve the expected service life.
