Baking-free ramming material
The construction of baking-free ramming material is convenient and quick. While reducing the labor intensity of construction personnel, after the construction is completed, iron can be directly tapped without baking, and the furnace can be operated and used. Its characteristic is that it saves time for repair and maintenance.
This kind of material has the ability to withstand the scouring of high-temperature molten iron and slag, and is suitable for intermittent tapping and erosion of high iron output and low iron output in front of the furnace. Its performance has good wear resistance and thermal shock resistance, and less residual carbon is produced during use. Its binder is used in combination with phenolic resin, and then a reasonable proportion of silicon carbide is added to adjust the wear resistance and thermal shock performance of the material through a reasonable proportion.
Baking-free ramming material is mainly used for lining and repairing of the tapping groove of medium and small blast furnaces. It is suitable for small and medium-sized blast furnaces below 400m³, especially in medium and small blast furnaces with single tapping holes; it can also be used for lining the residual groove.
The production requirements of this ramming material are strict. It is produced in separate equipment from the neutral castable. The binder resin used must also be combined with a high-viscosity resin. The color is brown-red and the specific gravity is above 1.7. After adding it, the anti-corrosion ability is enhanced. The resin used for waterless pressure injection mud is different. The resin used for mud has a low concentration and low body density. There is a certain difference from the high-concentration resin.
During the construction of the baking-free ramming material, the material is compacted directly on site with a tamping machine. If it is more than 250mm thick, it must be compacted in layers with a tamping machine. Storage needs to be stored in a cool and dry place. The storage period is 6 months. The strength of the lining film of the ton bag should be good during storage to prevent damage.
