Refractory Bricks

Refractory anchoring brick for steel rolling heating furnace roof

Dec 14,2020

The alumina content of refractory anchor bricks is more than 55%, and the alumina content of superior refractory anchor bricks can reach 75%. The soft load temperature of this type of brick body reaches 1550 ℃, which belongs to high alumina brick refractory brick products. However, in general, the alumina content of 55% is more, because the 55% content of the anchor brick has better flexibility. In addition, it should be noted that anchor bricks are used to anchor refractory castables. The properties of the anchor bricks should be consistent with the castable material, with the same expansion and contraction, so as to form a close combination with the castable and extend the life of the furnace lining.

The layout and masonry of refractory anchor bricks during use should follow the following principles:
        1. The arrangement of refractory anchoring bricks should be determined according to the range and frequency of temperature changes and the size of the direct wall area, usually not less than 6 blocks/m2.
        2. The refractory anchor bricks must be carefully inspected before masonry. If the refractory anchor bricks have cracks in the anchor holes that affect the overall strength of the anchor bricks, they should not be used and should be resolutely discarded.
        3. When the masonry is close to the anchoring brick position, the bricks should be arranged in advance to determine the exact position of the refractory anchoring brick. The welding part of the metal shell is cleaned with a wire brush, and the welding rod suitable for the welding part is used for firm welding. Good anchor pipe.
        4. After the refractory anchor bricks are built, insert the anchor hook, and fill the air strike with refractory fiber felt and plug it tightly to form a certain degree of protection for the anchors.
The refractory anchor brick includes a column composed of a hanging end and an anchor, and spaced partial grooves are opened on the surface of the refractory anchor. At least one surface of the refractory anchor is provided with ribs along the length direction. After the ribs are provided Due to the reinforcement and traction of the ribs, the tensile and flexural strength of the refractory anchors are significantly improved, and the stress generated at the grooves can not continue to be transmitted at the ribs, so the anchor bricks of this structure are not easy to break.
