Magnesia Chrome brick is manufactured through high temperature or ultra-high temperature.It has the advantage of low porosity rate,high compressive strength,strong wear-resisting,errosion resistance and good spalling resisting,and so on.
Magnesia chrome bricks are widely used in industry due to its excellent properties of heat and pressure resistance. There are many kinds of magnesia chrome bricks, according to different requirements of products, magnesia chrome bricks mainly have three types:
1. Sintered magnesia chrome bricks
Sintered magnesia chrome bricks are made of high quality magnesia sand and chrome ore fine ingredients, and adjust the content of Cr2O3 according to different requirement. Sintered magnesia chrome bricks are widely used in cement kiln and non-ferrous metallurgical furnace due to its thermal stability and high temperature resistance.
2. Direct bonded magnesia chrome bricks
Direct bonded magnesia chrome bricks adopt lower impurity chrome ore and high purity magnesia sand as raw material, through high pressure forming and high temperature firing above1700. Direct bonded magnesia chrome bricks have the characteristics of high temperature resistance, strong ability to resist slag and corrosion resistance of cement clinker. They are widely used in no-ferrous metallurgical furnace and cement rotary kiln.
3. Bonded again magnesia chrome bricks
Bonded again magnesia chrome bricks use partial or all electric melting sand as raw materials, through fine ingredients, high pressure molding and high temperature calcination. Bonded again magnesia chrome bricks are widely used in RH, VOD, AOD and other furnace external refining device, and non-ferrous metallurgical furnace due to its good binding degree of particles, high strength of products and good volume stability.
